The 20th anniversary season ends on Saturday 12 September with Mozart's Great Mass, from £20. Until then the car park roof is free, Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm.

Bold Tendencies shuts for the year on Saturday 12 September 2026. The season runs 15 May to 12 September, it is the organisation’s 20th anniversary, and the whole thing is titled Euphoria.

Until then it is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm, on floors 7 to 10 of the Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park, 95a Rye Lane, SE15 4ST. Entry to the site is free and, as the organisers put it, “given on a first come first serve basis”, so early arrival is encouraged.

The closing concert

The season ends with the Philharmonia Orchestra playing Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor on Saturday 12 September at 7.30pm, conducted by Tess Jackson, with the Philharmonia Chorus, a double chorus of 80 singers, and soloists Olivia Warburton, Anita Monserrat, Liam Bonthrone and Daniel Vening.

The Philharmonia’s own listing gives tickets from £20 and runs the concert at about an hour, with no interval. Booking is through DICE.

One more live event comes first: Ben Okri, The Magic Lamp, on Sunday 6 September.

What is up there right now

Bold Tendencies is not only the concerts. The 2026 season carries new site-specific commissions by Andreas Gursky, Emma Hart, Athen Kardashian and Nina Mhach Durban, Tarek Lakhrissi and Louis Morlæ, plus The Listening Room, this year devoted to David Bowie, which has been running since 6 June and closes with everything else on 12 September.

Frank’s Cafe, the rooftop bar under the red canopy, keeps the same dates and hours: 15 May to 12 September, Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm. It is card only, and it does not take table reservations.

Check Rye Lane before you set off

There is a live problem on the doorstep. On 4 September 2026 Southwark Council announced that Rye Lane is closed to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists because of a dangerous structure at the former cinema site at 114-116 Rye Lane.

The council says contractors are installing a scaffold support, that it is “a complex job and is expected to take at least a week”, and that the road and footways reopen when the work is done. Traffic diversions are in place and TfL is organising bus diversions, so check tfl.gov.uk for routes.

Bold Tendencies’ entrance is at 95a Rye Lane, further south along the same street, and the council has not published a map of the closed section. Given the timing runs into the final weekend, check both the council notice and Bold Tendencies’ own channels on the day before travelling.

Getting there

  • Train: Peckham Rye is 150m from the main entrance, on the Overground from Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction and on South Eastern services from London Bridge and Victoria. Peckham Rye station does not have step-free access.
  • Buses: 12, 36, 37, 63, 78, 171, 343, 363 and 436.
  • On foot from the station: turn left down Rye Lane, cross at the pedestrian crossing, face Peckhamplex cinema, then turn right for the staircase up to Bold Tendencies.
  • Access: step-free access to the venue is available on request.
  • Bikes: cycle parking is opposite Peckhamplex. Bikes cannot come into the building or onto the roof.
  • Driving: there is pay and display on the ground floor, entered from Cerise Road, SE15 5HQ, free in the evening and at weekends. It is limited, and the venue advises against arriving by car.
